How and Why I Create
Hi, I’m Desirée Rivera and I make my creations from a small home studio in New York. I love making new art pieces and experimenting. I believe people should be able to do the kind of work they love. I also believe that people should buy art that communicates to them from artists, not corporations. Buying art can be costly. It's my goal to offer fair prices that take into account the materials I use, the labor it takes to create, and the time it takes to complete a quality piece.
Each of my Conversation Art Pieces begins its life as a sketch then a watercolor, acrylic painting, or other media. Prints & cards from original art are printed in my small studio. I source high-grade acid-free paper, fine inkjet ink, and other quality materials. All are well-packaged in order to bring you the best art product while keeping prices reasonable. Some of my products are framed.
